Meadow Argus
For weeks now I've been trying to get a good photo of the butterflies that visit my garden, they are far more flighty than birds and seem to have eye in the backs of their heads as they can see you sneak up on them. And today just as I was going to give up this little fella obliged me for a few seconds to take some nice clear snaps of his wings in beautiful display.
I saved the hi-res version of this on my hard drive. It's a fantastic image!
