Eurasian Coot, fulicata
My first Coot, spotted in amongst all the ducks in the river at New Norfolk. He swam so sweetly by my I almost missed seeing him. I wished I could have stayed longer to take more photo's of him and to hear his call, apparently they make a loud hoarse whinnying screech!!

I haven't seen any coots here at all. The last one must have been years ago in Melbourne or even in Sydney...
Love the ripples and the little glare efx on the water too.
