Little Wattlebird
Scientific name: Anthochaera chrysoptera
Family: Meliphagidae
Order: Passeriformes
From all the photo's I took yesterday this one came out the best. I had so many good opportunities chasing this little starling chick while he/she was feeding on the ground but not one good photo worth posting:) However I did have a nice time in the park.
Good morning!
ReplyDeleteYou are right. It is the Little Wttlebird, also known as Brush Wattlebird. It's cute and has a very funny voice!
Thank you Mr Tilcheff!
ReplyDeleteI knew you would know.
I don't think they have a very pleasant voice!
Reminds me of the bird I saw yesterday attacking other birds. It ripped the feathers out of two different birds and it was harassing others that flew down near it. I was kind of suprized!
