Tasmanian brown tree frog

It's a good feeling when you see these little guys in your garden. They are little barometers as they always start to croak before it starts to rain. It's funny to hear them as one will start shyly , then another two start and after a short break a whole choir starts croaking.
When I first found these frogs seem to survive in varied places around my garden. I've found them in the really dry areas under rocks, in damp and rotten vegetation and in pots.

  1. They're gorgeous! How lucky you are to have frogs in your garden! Mine isn't anywhere near developed enough yet, but am starting to work on it. Thank you for sharing. R.

Great to see some Australian frogs. I don't think I ever seen any.
