Photo's where taken just outside of my mums house in two of the little council planted street trees. It was near dusk and still very warm out. I was a little nervous taking these pics as they are big birds. I wish I had know my camera better at this time as so many photo's ended up being too dark. But who knows these birds being territorial may be back at their old haunts next year when I visit.
Good to see some Black-Backs :) I was so stressed when I was in Sydney the last time I didn't take even one photo of them :( They are bigger than Tasmanian White-Backs, but as friendly and nice, well... except for during nesting season.
